Comcast to increase downstream bandwidth from 1.5 to 3.0 Mbps All of you Comcast subscribers can soon rejoice because Comcast has declared that they will be increasing the current downstream of their cable modem customers from 1.5 Mbps to a whopping 3.0Mbps.
