Creating PDF files with ps2pdf. For better or for worse, Adobe's Portable Document Format (PDF) is a wildly popular way of exchanging information. On Windows and Mac OS, most people create PDF files by first creating a PostScript file and then using Adobe Acrobat Distiller to generate a PDF. Linux, however, has no version of Distiller. The linked page is a 1.7 Mb Flash file, so, errrm, be careful. extendedPDF 0.91. extendedPDF is an OpenOffice.org macro that converts an OpenOffice document into a PDF document. The output includes the original document's headings as PDF bookmarks, and includes the original hyperlinks as PDF hyperlinks.
