Crossword Generator 0.8.3 Crossword Generator generates crosswords from scratch to PostScript. It just needs the board and a dictionary and it fills it up. It uses an optimized branch and bound algorithm to try all the posible combinations. There is also an optional heuristic to speed up the process. This heuristic is not exhastive, but it gives much better time that the normal one. When the crossword is ready it can translate it into TeX format so that it can be compiled using LaTeX.  [freshmeat.net]

PXES Linux Thin Client 0.5.1-6 PXES is a micro Linux distribution for thin clients. PXES will boot a real thin client or will help to convert in minutes any compliant hardware into a versatile thin client. They will be capable of accessing any XDM server presenting the graphical login screen, any Microsoft Terminal Server through RDP protocol, or any Citrix ICA server. The actual configuration of clients is made with an easy to use graphical configuration tool, allowing the specification of clients parameters or the server to access. The thin client can access the local devices such as sound, printer, disks, etc. Some devices are autodetected, so you can use the same image to boot a variety of thin clients.  [freshmeat.net]
