Free software/open source software in a Win32 environment:"The OpenCD project is brilliant in design and execution, but is large in scope and therefore moving slowly. The final result will be a powerful free software advocacy tool. Our local LUG group is attending an annual technology show next week, and we decided to put together a CD to introduce the normal W32-based tech user to the notion of quality free software. This is in addition to the normal distribution of a couple hundred DemoLinux or RedHat or Mandrake CDs. PhpMyLibrary 2.0.0 - An Online Reservation module has been created. This will allow borrowers to reserve the book they want to borrow online. The Python polGenSQL program was also included to speed up the importing of MARC records. A Nuke-like themes system has been adapted. Post/PHP Nuke themes can be used even if on a non-nuked site. This is now a full package library automation software which consists of three core modules and the WebOPAC, Cataloging, and Reservation modules.  [freshmeat.net]

TinyCA 0.4.4 - TinyCA is a simple GUI written in Perl/Tk to manage a small certification authority. It is based on OpenSSL and Perl modules from the OpenCA project. TinyCA lets you manage x509 certificates. It is possible to export data in PEM or DER format for use with servers, as PKCS#12 for use with clients, or as S/MIME certificates for use with email programs. Registry Utilities - You should be backing up your Dreamweaver registry entries including your site definitions. Unfortunately, the capability is not built into Dreamweaer. The good news though is that there is a utility to do this for you from Corey Eiges.
