Yahoo Betas Video Search Feature

Yahoo has rolled out a beta video search that finds just that video you were looking for.  The search page is http://video.search.yahoo.com/.  For something interesting, try searching for CALI conference video from 2001.  Pretty cool, except I broke the links yesterday when I moved the conference pages from one server to another:(  Well, at least I know what I'll be doing this morning...

Update: I fixed the links for the time being.  Turns out that the links for 1999 are systemically broken anyway.  Anyway, the video that turns up on Yahoo! is now linked through.

Students uncover dozens of Unix software flaws | Tech News on ZDNet - "Students of iconoclastic computer scientist Daniel Bernstein have found some 44 security flaws in various Unix applications, according to a list of advisories posted online.
The flaws, which range from minor slipups in rarely used applications to more serious vulnerabilities in software that ships with most versions of the Linux operating system, were found as part of Bernstein's

Microsoft fixes 'critical' XP firewall issue. Microsoft has quietly released an update to Windows XP to fix a configuration problem in the firewall that ships as part of Windows XP SP2.
