Microsoft to drop older products. The software maker says it is retiring several of its older products, including Windows 98, to comply with a court order related to Sun Microsystems and Java. [CNET News.com - Front Door]

Win98 is essentially finished with no regular support and only hotfix support until mid January 2004.  Time to update.
