Novell Delays Linux Services for NetWare, Plans Products Using Ximian Code Novell is delaying shipment of its much anticipated Linux services for NetWare product until the end of this year, due to a decision to integrate software code from Ximian, a recently acquired ISV that is very active in the Linux space. Ximian code will show up in other future Novell products, too, including a Linux-based interface for Novell's GroupWise, and even possibly a desktop GUI from Novell [Linux Today]

Read this article, it is scary.  Basically E-Bay will just fork your info over to law enforcement at the drop of a fax and give them a wink-wink, nudge-nudge as to whether or not they may want to get a subpeona for Paypal records.  This falls into the same class of activity of retail 'security' strip searching or handcuffing suspected shoplifters.
