"Samba" Open Source Server For Windows Desktops Upgraded To Enhance NT 4 Migration (TechWeb). TechWeb - Samba was upgraded to Version 3.0 on Thursday. The new version is designed to make migrating from Windows NT 4 easier, and supports Kerberos authentication, LDAP directory services, and integrates with Microsoft Active Directory.
