Day one of the conference wraps.

In a blast of irony, my blog has been down all day.  Well I got it back together now.  The first day of the conference is winding up.  All in all, things went well.  There were no great tech failures, virtually all of the webcasts went off.  We did discover that more than 7-9 clients requesting the same stream causes the server to quit accepting request for that stream.  I think it was a bandwidth problem in Chicago.

Well, off to the ballgame.

A security note: I keep forgetting that I can't ftp to my webserver because I limit access based on IP . Wtthout the VPN, I get locked out.  so I need to remember to fire up the VPN.

Well, the bloggers are live and the webcasts are up.  I'm getting notes from folks with kudos on both.  I do need to have a better way to link the two.  Our bloggers are not assigned sessions so are free to float around.  I'll need to think about linking everything together next year.
