The importance of titles

It is only just now occuring to me that all of my posts ( and yours too ) should have titles so that we have some way to set them off. from other pieces in aggregators, etc.  Sounds like a no brainer, but I never really noticed until I started aggregating the conference blogs and all of the post sorta kinda run together.  In Radio titles are turned on here.  And remember to use them.

Addendum: you also need to include the itemTitle macro in the item template.

Coal-Mine Canaries on a Chip. Berkeley scientists are developing a chip that monitors the health of a single cell embedded in it. If the cell dies because of, say, a chemical attack, the chip can give ample warning before casualties mount. By Erik Baard. [Wired News]

Dan recently refered to a librarian who saw a network outage first as being a 'canary down a mine shaft'.  Being from Scranton, PA, one time anthracite coal capital of the world, I hadn't heard the expression in a long time.  Now here it is again.  Go figure.
