What we are seeing here is the problem with tie-in to a single vendor.  This is a major problem.  MSFT is actively pursuing an appeal of this decision on several levels, yet they are forcing developers to alter the way pages are written.  This is real muscle-flexing.  BTW, don't get me started on the evils of software patents...
