RSS Feeds @ PC World. I didn't realize how many RSS Feeds PC World has (about 20). Syndic8 only listed one. Most of them are updated daily, which is fine. Color me impressed (again, that's a dark shade of green). [Library Stuff] Most of the feeds are 'Today's Most Popular...' items from PC World product finder. Pretty handy. 2:25:29 PM ![]() |
LEWIS, DIRECTOR, ARIZONA DEPARTMENT OFCORRECTIONS, et al. v. JEFFERS. Decided 06/27/1990 [Recent decisions of the US Supreme Court] Sweet. Looks like LII produced an RSS file containing all the cases it has in its collection, running back to 1991 at least. What a tremendous resource. I've grabbed a copy before it gets over written. I'll get it online shortly. 1:44:46 PM ![]() |
Microsoft Offers A Peek At New Search Engine
from the beta-but-working dept. ObsessiveMathsFreak writes "The Inquirer is reporting that Microsoft is offering a preview of its new search technology. The search engine preview has a minimalist interface, similar to Google. Microsoft claims over one billion web pages searched, but admits the fact that searching is a little slow. This technology hasn't yet been incorporated into MSN Search, though the site claims it eventually will be. In related news, the Financial Times is reporting that Microsoft are to improve the regular MSN Search site by removing paid advertisements from regular internet searches, a move that will cost them 'tens of millions of dollars.' Are the Search Engine Wars finally upon us?" [Slashdot] Interesting. tried a search for 'teknoids' that yeilded nothing and further attempts at searching only generated errors and requests that I try again later. Plus, it is sssslllloooowwww. 1:22:52 PM ![]() |
