Stetson law school dean Gary Vause dies. Stetson University College of Law has announced that Gary Vause, dean and vice president of Stetson University College of Law, died of cancer today, May 9, at his home in Gulfport. He was 60. In late April, as previously reported on JURIST's Paper Chase, Vause told a campus-wide gathering he would retire July 31 because of his cancer. [JURIST's Paper Chase]
