Configuring Netscape for the new server
Here is the information you need to configure Netscape's email client to get email from the new server and to use the new server to send email.
Please keep in mind that if you are forwarding email to another account, you do not need to make all of these changes.
Information on changing your initial password was included in an introductory email.

- Moving folders
- If you have a lot of mail to move this will take some time. Do it with a fast connection and expect to spend a half day working on it.
- Note that mail is safe on the old server for the foreseeable future, but the sooner it is moved/archived the better.
- 1: House cleaning - clear your inbox, file or delete everything in there. Trying to move the Inbox is a bad idea.
- 2: Highlight the folder you want to move and drag it to 'Local Mail'
- This creates a local copy of the folder and its contents. Be patient, it may take awhile.
- 3: Once you have moved everything to the 'Local Mail' collection, you can consider yourself done.
- 4: (optional) You can move your email from the 'Local Mail' collection to the new server using the same drag and drop technique.
- Note: there is no particular advantage to this.
